Classic Pools is Great I am a landscape architect and have worked with Val Toland/ Classic Pools on several high quality pool installations. Not only is Val completely honest, he is one of the most knowledgeable contractors in the pool industry. Please look past the earlier rantings, and interview Val and his countless other happy clients for yourself. He is definitely worth considering on any pool project!
Val Toland Classic Pools - Bad Experience I hired Val to build me a pool back in May 2004. The pool was completed mid-September 2004, substantially later than promised. Val made a mess of my back yard, leaving concrete debris and contaminated soil, which he refused to clean up. Most importantly, however, I have spent over $6,000 on repairs, and the pool is just 3 years old. I've had to cut up the concrete patio to repair pipes on 3 separate occasions. Bad pool company. Avoid like the plague.
