Yummy thin crust on the Westside – Always searching for the best thin crust pizza, my husband and I try many. We thought we'd settled on a favorite in Venice/Santa Monica, until we got a flyer for Classic Pizza, and gave them a call. While their pies are a bit on the expensive side, they are some of the best we've tried. The sauce is flavorful, the toppings are well distributed ... but the crust is the best. Where SMC students go – I haven't ordered much else on the menu besides the standard pizza and chicken wings meal for a good study snack at nearby Santa Monica College but it's worth it. If you order a large pizza, you get an appetizer for free (but you have to ask). Get the wings. They're bigger and better than any other pizza place in town and they give you a lot. They also deliver all over Santa Monica.
