Don't do business with Classic Openings!! I should have read these reviews before hiring them. They improperly installed a skylight and I found them to be very hard to deal with. I ended up hiring a roofer to remove and re-install the skylight -- at a cost of $350.
Owner Jack Kelcher is a con artist-Beware!!!! – Beware and do your homework before letting this outfit set foot on your property. Quotes you reasonable prices and then once the work (shoddy at that ) is done your reasonalbe price is doubled. This company does not have its own installation personnel, but hires out subcontractors that leave a mess. WOW - UTILITY BILLS CUT IN HALF.... Classic installed new vinyl windows in our home, and demonstrated their new high performance Zo-E glass. I guess I had expected some improvement and perhaps I have become calloused by advertising hoopla. Excellent window installation – I retained this company to replace ALL the windows in my two story home in Highland Park. This involved some 75 + openings. I used Anderson replacement windows. The work was excellent, timely, clean-up flawless, price was reasonable. The reduction of noise was astounding and the air conditioning and heating bills plummeted. I have recommended them to numerous others and I personally recommend them without equivocation.

Carry a variety of products with emphasis on energy efficiency. Most knowledgable personnel concerning windows and doors. Competitively priced and complete turnkey installations. Great value. – This company is more educationally oriented then most. Willing to spend time educating customers about differences in performance, warranty, price, pay-back period etc. Not just motivated by making sales, but more about providing options and benefits so customers can make informed decisions.
Watch your Wallets! – This owner ordered me the wrong window and then refused to take it back. He actually wanted me to pay for another window and blamed me for not knowing the correct Andersen coding. Watch out!! BUYER BEWARE!! He got my money for his screw up, don't let him take yours!!
