Very disappointing experience. I paid about $400 and came away with little real direction on the actual problem. Instead of a clear diagnostic breakdown or useful next steps, I was basically told I should consider trashing the car unless I was willing to spend $3,000+. 2022 CLS450 - I compared the exact same job with the dealer, (bent strut) car wasnt handling right after 2 alignments at other shop. And Classic gave a better price for the exact same job. I took my Mercedes there and within minutes, my car was up on a lift for a very thorough evaluation and within 10 minutes I had my entire writeup and quote. Excellent service and a very fair price! I'm mechanically-inclined and do most repairs on my car myself but I don't have a lift. I diagnosed a whining noise in my c300 4matic as the transfer case bearings. I originally brought it to a Mercedes dealership and they wanted to replace the entire transmission...for $12,500. Pure lunacy. I brought it to Nick right after leaving the dealership and his crew diagnosed the same issue as I and offered a very reasonable price to replace the bearings (trans fluid and filter change too). ... read more
