I purchased my 2023 Ford Maverick from this dealership and dropped it off the day before for a vibration issue. At the time, no one mentioned a diagnostic fee or gave me a heads-up. When I returned the next day to pick it up, I was blindsided by a $195 diagnostic fee they expected me to pay. On top of that, without my consent, they performed a recall software update, leaving me stuck in the waiting room for two hours. I had to fight just to get the fee waived. I travelled to Galveston for vacation all the way from Kansas and my check engine light came on about two hours away. I was superrr stressed. I tried to call the dealership when they opened but apparently called and left a message with sales first (never heard back). I then tried to call the service department but couldn't get through. We were on a road trip from Michigan to Texas when we started having trouble with our starter. We didn’t want to risk it going out during the rest of our trip or on our way home so we decided to have it checked out. They were able to get us in first thing the next morning and Tyler graciously offered us shuttle service back to our resort so we wouldn’t have to wait in the lobby or worry about finding another ride.
