Walter Maddox and I spoke on the phone a couple of times and emailed back and forth. I emailed him a list of work to be done. He was fine with it. He came over and gave us an estimate. He agreed to start work on a given day at a given time. We had even confirmed the date and time in an email with him and he said it was fine. He just didn't show up. No call, no email. Nothing. I received this recommendation by a friend. Terrible recommendation. He repaired a leak, but in doing so caused another leak. He never came to fix it even though I let him know there was a small drip the same day. He set up a time to come 4 times and didn't show each time. He didn't even call to say he would n't make it. Even after I told him the drip had now turned into a steady leak. After he didn't show the 3rd time I was able to catch him on the phone (the prior times he would not pick up or respond to texts). Walter Maddox is an arrogant liar who tries to manage his clients. Maddox never takes any responsibility for his mistakes. The problem was always caused by someone else or malfunctioning equipment or defective products. He attempted to have us buy a part for our furnace that a licensed plumber came in and diagnosed and repaired in 30 minutes without any parts.
