I went yesterday and told the barber that was going to cut my hair how I wanted it. He literally rushed it, and on top of it I had short hair I told him I wanted to trim it a bit to even it out as its already short as a buzz cut. I told the man I wanted to grow it out so just trim the ends of the top, sides, and corner, but honestly he cut it and it looked uneven length from one side.
