I really do feel like I dodged a bullet by backing out. They write their contract vague on purpose so when you bring up issues during the building process they can say, "its in your contract that it is subject to change." First, I bought a specific floor plan but once the framing went up, it was not the floor plan I was promised: it was reversed and a lot smaller, think 1500sqft vs the 1800sqft purchased. Our realtor was Claudia , and our experience from beginning to end was absolutely stress free and great ! We thought the home buying process would be more complicated but working with her she always kept us updated on each step of the process, and always kept us informed. We highly recommend Claudia as a realtor, and Classic American Homes for making this experience for us amazing, hassle free, and very informative as first time homebuyers.
My son / I are very happy with Classic American Homes service. They also have rentals for houses as well as for apartments through Venture Tree LLC.We just renewed our lease going on our 3rd yr at Estates @ Newport Apts. Ron our manager always makes sure any issues are taken care of. He cares and always makes sure tenants are comfortable and living in a safe environment. He's the best, it doesn't get any better than this !
I thought I was getting a good quality Classic American Home, thinking that it would be the best decision for my family...was I wrong? Most definitely was. Their contractors are the most irresponsible out there, Eastlake Elect. is one of them. Be very careful if you ever thinking about buying a house from them, I say it from experience. While I am satisfied with the house itself and made every effort to be a flexible, reasonable buyer during the inspection and walk-through phases, the communication regarding financial incentives was misleading and unprofessional.
