All the personnel are extremely nice. I am comfortable the minute I walk in. Dr. Strassner has always been so great at identifying the problems with my eyes, from cataracts to a tear. I would never consider going anywhere but here.
I went in for a concern about double vision. Sara Strasser listened to my symptoms, helped refine my words, asked questions about my medical history, and ran immediate tests. The office manager, Dawn, walked me through the tests and made me feel at ease. Thanks to their careful attention and helpfulness, I got the referral I needed. Dawn even personally called me to confirm the referral, date, and time, and what to expect. Their thoroughness and kindness made a concerning situation easier to manage. I really appreciate it!
I had a very disappointing experience with the Clarkson Eyecare Clayton/Ladue location regarding my son’s prescription glasses. The first pediatric frame broke within two days of normal use, even though it was presented to us as highly durable and appropriate for a child. When I returned, I was told the frame was not covered because I had not purchased an additional warranty. I then used another insurance benefit to get a second frame and was charged extra for a yearly warranty, plus more money out of pocket after insurance.... read more
Dr strasser and her staff are awesome. Every visit is a pleasure. My eyes are well taken care of. They are just the best!
I have always had a great experience at Clarkson! The people are all very friendly and knowledgeable, and I would 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for an eye doctor.
