I was extremely disappointed in so many ways with Clarkston Eye care. Let me explain why: During my appointment, I told the dr that I wanted to use my VSP benefits for sunglasses as VSP allows you to do so if you have had lasik. The Doctor stated that I must have a prescription if I want to use my VSP benefit and would not look at the information I provided stating VSP allows patients to use their benefits that way. Ever since Denise left, the customer service had gone down hill. On two occasions with Bethany, I got poor service. The latest I was told my daughters contact lenses would take two weeks as they were custom order. Three weeks in and am now told 4 to 5 weeks. No return calls from Bethany on the update, I asked to be connected to the doctor for his recommendations as my daughter has only week off contacts left. Bethany said there is nothing he can do. Totally unacceptable.
After insurance I still paid over $150 in store and then over 6 months later they were trying to bill me for $35 more. Saying my insurance didn’t cover something. Not my fault. Looks like you didn’t do something. Will never use them again. I also didn’t care foe their selection of glasses.
