Our hotel recommended a stop here on our way to Red Lodge and it is a beautiful little picnic area as well as a historic place to see where the old wooden water flume was as well as the foundation for the electric plant they built in 1916. Great pictures and an easy boardwalk. The waterfall has a bridge that leads into the trails into the wilderness. Good quick stop or longer hike starting point.
Trailhead to the Beaten Path. Absolutely magic area ... bring bear spray and a fly rod
