Clarks Ale House is located on the outskirts of Armory Square in Syracuse, NY. With two levels of seating, and an olde tyme British Style Pub Bar - this place is a great place to grab a brew, a buddy and converse about arcane subjects until closing. Clarks has a great selection of craft and microbrewed beers, along with a small selection of snacks (crackers and cheese, ala McSorley's Ale House in NYC) to amazing roast beef sandwiches. Great outdoor seating in the summer.
Been a regular at Clark's for years even though I am only in NY for the summer now. Ray Clark had a truly awsome place here. 21 microbrewed ales on tap. No Bud or Coors Lite here folks, just awsome beer & ale. They have since closed down, I believe their last day was Sept 24th 2010 as the Landmark Theater upstairs is expanding. I hope Ray reopens Clark's at a new location!
