Clarke's: Missed Signs of a Serious Collision – I took my car here in march to get it inspected before buying. They told me about a few minor problems and said that the car looked great and showed no signs of collision or damage. I bought the car and took it to my mechanic to fix the repairs, and they informed me that the car showed signs of a serious collision. They showed me several gashes and bent pieces under the car. I was very upset that Clarke's missed this. I would not have bought the car if I had known. The gashes were easily visible and would have been noticed if the mechanic had looked thoroughly. Clarke's refunded my fee at my demand, but this did not satisfy me because I purchased a car with defects that I didn't want. I would strongly discourage anyone from visiting this shop.
