I do not recommend Michael Schloss for any high-conflict custody or relocation cases. His office is extremely limited—just him and one assistant—and they are not equipped to handle the complexity or urgency that these cases require. I retained Mr. Schloss for a relocation hearing after being told I had a very good chance of success. My daughter has a serious medical condition that makes it unsafe for her to remain in extreme heat. I had a letter from her cardiologist recommending the move. Despite this, we lost. If zero stars was an option I would have selected that. Racked up $15k in three months, the paralegal Karen over projects her time and the attorney barely reviewed the case. Embarrassing. You can do better for less.
Michael Shloshh is a horrible person. Run from this lawyer.
Mike Schloss and Karen Linhart provided excellent service. They communicated well with me and treated me professionally and kindly face to face and via email. I am glad that I used Clark and Schloss.
Would not recommend. My consultation was with Clark and then without notice I find out Mike was taking over my case. I spent over $10k in attorney fees... just to lose. Mike drug out the process and did not do proper follow up when in negotiations over parenting time and I had to threaten to fire him to get any sort of action. He never even asked me what my story was. My son's father abandoned us when I found out I was pregnant and NEVER even saw or talked to our son until I tracked him down with a private investigator.
