Dr Goodstein is an angel. I initially came to see her because of the ringing in my ear, and while I was relieved to find out that everything was healthy, I am incredibly thankful for what happened next. She noticed my raspy voice and took the time to ask if that was normal for me. After looking down my throat and discovering the non-cancerous polyp, she changed everything for me. Threatened to put a hole through my throat and trachea. I came in with severe, life-threatening sleep apnea. The receptionist told me my sleep study was not needed for the appointment, which is absolute nonsense and frankly malpractice. I had to ask the doctor myself to look at it during the visit. When I got emotional, she said "I can do a trach", meaning a tracheostomy, a hole punched in my throat and through my trachea. She did not say this as a genuine clinical recommendation. Wonderful experience with Allison. She listened and was very validating. Everyone was thorough with their explanations of what to expect for exam and testing. Lovely small private practice experience. The way you want doctor’s appointments to go. They also see kids!
