You stay at Clarion River Suites for the views. Awesome perch above the Clarion River. Eagles soar. The bed was a little stiff for our likes. Other than that, we loved the place!
Just wanted to share a review during my stay over memorial day weekend. Check-in.... Great. They call and leave a message with your door code and you are all set. Don't have to see anyone. Straight to the room. View.... Unmatched. My girlfriend and I couldn't understand why people were staying at Clarion River Lodge. Just beneath Clarion River suites. As far as view goes, look no further. Outstanding view from your own balcony. No man made buildings or anything at all across the landscape. Really nice restaurant just down the hill, within walking distance (if you can handle the steep hill). We were there peak fall season. Happened to see a couple deer, and what I think was turkeys, no less than 30 yards out back. Rooms are starting to feel dated. They are functional, but the appliances/TV setup feel pretty ancient. The management is very accommodating and helpful. The view from the rooms are fabulous
Absolutely stunning views and always has friendly deer to visit you every morning. Very informative and friendly staff. Bathtub needed some good cleaning and there was cobwebs on lamps. The screen door to balcony was basically off the track, very hard to open and very loud with attempts. They provide you with the basic cookware and utensils but the pans need thrown away and replaced! Bed was very comfortable but pillows were pretty flat.
