We were looking for a nice quiet and clean spot to stop on a long road trip with our 2 little kids, and this place was perfect! Very clean and comfortable, beautiful view, close to restaurants, great service, peaceful nights rest. Breakfast was good too.
On a Friday afternoon, after spending a few awful hours on 81, I was desperate for a quiet, clean place to rest for the evening. This property was just that! The staff working were great, friendly and professional. The room was exceptionally clean, excellent linens, comfortable mattress. I was surprised (and thankful!!) how quiet it was, no loud tvs or children, no barking dogs, just so peaceful. I used the fitness center in the morning before heading out- all new equipment! Overall a perfect hotel experience for me.
I booked for the week due to training for work in Staunton. I was denied checking in due to my local license (40 miles distance) and was turned away. The receptionist said "we don't accept local addresses, sorry". No more explanation than that. Can someone help me understand this concept? They wouldn't explain to me.
