The staff saved me! I had a sick grandchild with me. We had to leave a planned Massanutten family trip and find a room to wait out a fever. They gave me a room at 8am for a portion of the regular rate, let us hunker down and let the fever pass. Bless that sweet man for his kindness. It was perfect for what it was intended.
Fairly clean and quiet hotel. I’m used to spending a little bit more for a quality stay, but this place turned out to be well kept and the staff was very friendly. I recommend for anyone staying in the area if you want to save a couple bucks for an above average experience.
Evening reception & breakfast was exceptional. All the staff i interacted with were upbeat, welcoming and listened to concerns. I was only able to give 4 stars overall for due to a few things. First, our room was clean, comfy bed and overall more than adequate - though we did have 2 overall issues. The room never cooled down to our desired 68 degrees; with the bedroom area cooling down a bit but with no other air vents moving cool air, the sitting area was stuffy & remained warm.
