I was informed this hotel was closed 3 days prior to my check in. I booked my suite 4 months prior and management called to let me know they will still will be closed 3 days before my trip. I requested for them to honor my reservation somewhere else but they wanted to charged an additional $99. I wouldn’t waste my time or money for this unprofessional business.
the hotel is closed, not inform the customer and still accept new booking. Don't book it to save your time and money.
Although we had reservations for 26 people to stay there the night before we left on a cruise, when we arrived we found the property vacant. We later learned that they had been shut down a week or two earlier for failure to pay their taxes. We had booked through a travel agent, and they knew Nothing about it being closed. We never received any notice from the hotel. Luckily we we able to find rooms at the last minute a few miles down the road at a Holiday Inn Resort. Which was a very nice place.
