I don't understand these 2.5/5 reviews. This is one of the best rooms we have had in Gatlinburg. The room we stayed in was in the back building and it was updated, smelled great and super clean. Shower was new and updated. Absolutely no smells and pillows and bed was so comfy. We definitely recommend this hotel. We did not eat breakfast so I can't comment on that.
The rooms were clean and loved the liquid soap instead of bars. Kind employees, and were we had planned to go was in walking distance. The breakfast was fantastic.
The location was good, right below downtown Gatlinburg, but the hotel was disappointing. Outdated, dirty, and not what I would expect from a Clarion. No housekeeping service either during our stay.
The price was reasonable because we just needed 1 night. I asked for a first floor room because I have problems with stairs. They accommodated us, however I think it was the last one. The bathroom had mold growing on the wall. Also broken toilet paper holder and towel bar. Mold was growing on the drop ceiling that was installed inside the shower. Again it was 1 night and we weren’t there long. Clean and staff were nice. Breakfast was your typical cereal, waffles, bagels etc.. it got us back on the road.
