They were complaining about stains on the bed sheets and the face cloths and decided it was ok to keep my 400 dollar deposit. I asked to speak to the manager and even he was saying that they will try to get the stains out but they said they weren't able to get them out. My children used the faceclothes because they had craft dinner and had the cheese on their mouths and the stains on the sheets was from my wife's foundation. Lake of the Woods was good.
Phenomenal hotel. The rooms are quite classy, with beautiful panoramic windows, an indulgent glass-door shower with both a normal showerhead and a ceiling showerhead, with perfect beds and pillows and sound mitigation (I'm a light sleeper). There is a REAL gym (barbells, cables, etc - not your ordinary hotel gym) across the street to which the hotel provides free passes.
