My Dad and I stayed in two different rooms. Both rooms were dirty, the carpets were filthy, there was pubic hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. We asked twice if we could get someone to come in and vacuum they said they would but no one came. I even offered to vacuum myself and she said she would send someone- still no one came. The bathroom vent was disgusting, the hallways on second floor looked like something from a crack hotel. The coffee maker, and blow dryer didn’t work in my room. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was great! I was in town for personal business. One guy named Fred was really helpful in getting me breakfast and getting me checked out. Well done to everyone concerned!
Ants in bathroom
We stayed at Clarion Inn Elmira on September 9, 2024, but had to leave after just one night due to serious issues with the room: strong cigarette smell, a non-functioning air conditioner, and constant street noise. I was promised a refund for the remaining nights (September 10–15), which I paid for in full (US$ 820.52). Despite multiple attempts to get the refund, including through Booking.com, the hotel has not processed it. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and urge future guests to be cautious.
Stay at this hotel over the Halloween weekend. So disappointed. First thing you do not get 2 queen size bed. They are full size. 2# had to let the water in the sink run for about 5 minutes to get hot. 3# The key card kept disconnecting to the room. Had to get it reconnected a total of 6 time. 4# Not sure but think this place is a hotel / shelter.. 5# they’re numerous sign of no smoking.
