Maybe I'm being overly picky, and hotel was overbooked and staff looked understaffed, but hallways and stairways were crumbly/cruddy. Customer entrance was propped open (safety concern), breakfast staff was non-existent at 7:10 when open time was 7am. Tabletop in breakfast area still had previous customers trash and debris. Not fair to the staff that was there, but wanted to make potential customers and current management aware. We will find another location before returning to this hotel. 😞
Absoutley the worst place I have ever stayed. This place needs to be shut down. The manager got fired while we were their and the area manager Maria was horrible as well. The staff had no uniforms, staff was working and living there, place was nasty and first impressions was a nightmare. Elevator button was hanging on with black electrical tape. I have stayed here in years past, I believe back then it may have been under a different brand…either way, my memory has failed me in thinking it was a decent place to stay. The location has always been sketchy, but the room and hotel is deplorable. The hallways are very dark and dirty, room look as though it had haphazardly been cleaned with sloppy bed making, stains on the desk and bathroom counter, stains on the carpet and chair, and the desk chair was literally duck taped together and the pleather hanging off. Several people reported bed bugs in this hotel. I called and asked if I cancel, will I get a refund. They said yes. I asked again to confirm and they said yes. After canceling, they refused to refund me and they stopped answering my calls. I went there in person and they said only the General Manager can approve that. The General Manager, Bethany Johnston, was not in. The front desk called her and on the phone she told them that she will approve it when she comes in the next day.
