Dinner prior to a show at the Newcastle Civic Theatre on Saturday 22 November 2025 was a pleasure. The booking process was easy and the arrival and seating seamless. I ordered the slow cooked beef cheek ($38) and my wife had the Karaage chicken ($24). Both meals arrived within 15 minutes , were well presented and tasted great. Great lunch venue with friendly staff. Good weekly turnover of craft beers best by the pint.
Busy and bustling place with a great beer garden, live music and good food. We had burgers with chips and stone & wood beers on tap. Their vegan burger also came with a house made patty which was super fresh. It was a good meeting point to rendezvous before heading across to watch Carl Barron at the Civic Theatre next door!
We had Sophie assisting us today while we had lunch and she was absolutely amazing! We were so lucky that we had here there during a busy time and she helped us in every way possible. Could not thank her enough!
