For the past couple years I’ve been working with the folks at Clarendon Family Dentistry to develop a new approach to cleaning my teeth every evening. I start with a handheld waterpick to clear out any particulates from my teeth. Then I use a GUM Softpick to clean between my teeth. Dr. Mooney is so thoughtful, careful, and she is a consistently good dentist. I had a lot of dentist anxiety, and over the past 5 years working with Dr. Mooney I've become very comfortable. She listens and communicates well with me and gives me really solid service. Dr. Mooney has put together a nice team, so the whole office staff is friendly and good. The office is just a couple blocks from the Clarendon Metro, and there is parking in the back of the office as well -- very convenient.

You can definitely tell this practice has changed hands. Longtime patients will remember personalized service, dentists who took time to get to know you, and friendly staff. Now? It’s all about the bottom line. Was staff friendly and professional? Yes. Did I receive the level of personalization I’ve received in the past? Nope.
