Clarendon Cottage, A Cosy Country Gem on the BVRT ♀️ We stayed at Clarendon Cottage while riding the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and it was the perfect place to rest our weary legs. Kathy is a fantastic host and communicated with us leading up to our arrival. Her thoughtful preparations made us feel completely at home. She even picked up groceries for us! Great location, very relaxing, the dogs loved the huge yard. Access to the BVRT is right at the back gate. Kathy was a great host and the cottage was extremely well appointed with everything you'd need for a few nights away. Always book direct and support small business.
We stayed here for 5 nights & had a fantastic time. We have family close by which is why we chose it but we will definitely be back to stay again. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. It was actually just like walking into someone’s home, everything was there. Fresh bread from the local bakery, 2l of milk, butter, jam, honey, peanut butter etc in the fridge. Perfect final stop in on the BVRT, right on the trail and and easy final day. Host is great, even offered to pick up groceries for us.
