I've only been here for a couple of hours and feel more relaxed than I have in years. Lovely place. Wandered around and got the fire pit ready for tonight while my dog explored. Then popped him on the verandah with a bone, bed and water and I'm ready to sleep! It's not a cottage it's a calm, welcoming home.
Clarendon Cottage, A Cosy Country Gem on the BVRT ♀️ We stayed at Clarendon Cottage while riding the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and it was the perfect place to rest our weary legs. Great location, very relaxing, the dogs loved the huge yard. Access to the BVRT is right at the back gate. Kathy was a great host and the cottage was extremely well appointed with everything you'd need for a few nights away. Always book direct and support small business.
We stayed here for 5 nights & had a fantastic time. We have family close by which is why we chose it but we will definitely be back to stay again. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. It was actually just like walking into someone’s home, everything was there. Fresh bread from the local bakery, 2l of milk, butter, jam, honey, peanut butter etc in the fridge.
