A fantastic community with an excellent, professional staff. Great location for commuting into the city, and the perfect place to live if you're looking for a walkable community where you can do all of your errands without getting into your car. Furthermore, the rooftop has recently been renovated and expanded to include some great amenities that make it usable all year round. Our management and staff are top notch and are incredibly responsive to residents' needs.
Clarendon 1021 is a great property with a full array of amenities. The neighborhood is very walkable and has plenty of restaurants and shops. The Orange and Silver lines are only a few blocks away too. I've lived here for several years now, and it's a wonderful place to be.
Unfortunately, the 2023 Board along with the General Manager have been responsible for several issues leading to recent one-star ratings. Concurrently, there is a collective demand from residents for the resignation of both the General Manager and the Current 2023 Board members. The mismanagement of the pool project resulted in significant cost overruns and scaffolding issues that have left over a dozen units without light for two years. I have lived here since 2009, and I could not ask for a better place to call home! The ammenities they offer (in unit maintance, concierge, package delivery, etc.) have been invaluable to me as a disable woman. The staff has always gone above and beyond, whether it be installing automatic door buttons on the trash room, helping me carry packages to my unit, to ensuring my parking space is near the elevator. I look forward to the newly ADA renovated rooftop, and being able to fully access that amenity as well.
