I stayed get for 4 nights and it's nice... However there's some drawbacks. 1. Ghosts are not guaranteed. 2. The rooms are dated, the floor squeaked and caused the things on the dresser to rattle when walking around my room. 3. There was a serious lack of power plugs around the bed to charge my phone or devices. Otherwise the hotel is very nice, the pools are amazing and the staff will go very far to make sure your needs are met. I stayed in room 445.

We were only there to meet friends for a meal, and it was so lovely I wanted to stay longer! This is a place worth planning for, to take advantage of booking options that will match your budget. Wonderful views, and great options to enjoy.

I splurged and stayed in the tower suite for a night during Christmas season. The location is great, nestled in the Berkeley hills. The staff was very professional and polite. I had a bit of trouble finding the room initially but one of the staff (Hannah I believe) was very kind and sweet and helped me find it. The room was amazing and it was just a short stair walk to get up to the tower. What amazing views! If I had to nitpick anything it was that the holiday decorations in the room felt a bit cluttery. Effie (lady at check in) appeared pissed off when I didn’t want to upgrade my room for $275. I walked away from her, then returned to have Hannah help me. A completely different and pleasurable experience. Thank you Hannah!
