walked in expecting just a quick hemming job, the kind of place where you drop stuff off and hope for the best. ended up chatting with the owner for a bit while she looked at the dress, she really seemed to care about getting it right... picked it up a few days later and it fit perfectly, no puckers or weird stitching anywhere. her prices were really reasonable too, definately not what i was expecting for that quality of work. my friend also got a dress altered there recently and hers looked great as well... just a solid lit... read more
I came to Clara’s upon a couple of recommendations and glad I did! I found her prices very reasonable, especially after a few fittings and seeing how attentive she is with her work. My dress was also bought off the rack, and the dry cleaning service to get it in great condition before my wedding was excellent.
Clara is a true artist through and through - she is both incredibly talented AND takes such great pride in her work. She sized me and my dress up without me even having to put it on - and her eyeball guesstimate was 100% accurate. Plus, her prices are very affordable compared to anyone else out there (and she doesn't nickel and dime for things like steaming/pressing/additional fittings if needed).
