She's the BEST! Clara was super attentive to detail. I have no idea how she was able to do this but she tightened the waistline of a lace gown without disruption of the floral design. I also hemmed my gown. She intentionally left it a little longer so that she could fine tune the length at the time of my pick up. She finished hemming at my final pick up appointment so that it was at the perfect length. She also adjusted the bra padding into my strapless gown so that it would lie flush with my chest.

I bought a qipao (Chinese traditional wear) to wear to my rehearsal dinner. I struggled to find a place that would alter it at a reasonable price and do a good job, and ended up at Clara's. She WAY surpassed my expectations!! She was so kind and easy to work with, and she did an amazing job with my dress!! It fit me perfectly after she worked on it, and she got the job done so quickly as well. highly recommend!
Just left this place with my teenage son who needs the sleeves of his suit jacket altered for Homecoming. I should have left immediately when we were looked right in our faces and were not greeted. After about 5 minutes of sitting and waiting to be acknowledged, the person I'm assuming is the owner, came over and said "yeah, yeah what is it? What can I help you with?" Clara's Wedding & Alteration was one of the highlights of our wedding. She took a 70+ year old wedding dress (worn by my mother and grandmother) and modified it with unbelievable care for over a year. I left emotional after every fitting because of how special she made me feel. The dress was a focal point of our wedding and we were able to honor loved ones with it.
