Our 1904 Montpelier house was kind of a wreck when we asked Dan to do a whole house remodel faithful to the original design but fully updated. And that's just what he and his wonderful team did. The new finishes blend beautifully with the old and the guts of the house are unobtrusively brand new. We were living abroad during the renovation. Dan was the perfect general contractor and his lead carpenter Jared was the perfect onsite manager for absentee owners. We could not recommend them more highly.

Our project cost more than expected, but that was because I didn't know what things really cost. As work progressed I saw what was involved. Dan, Jared & the fabulous Meg are real professionals. I'm glad we chose Clar for our home renovation.

Called them to build front pressure treated stairs from house to driveway and level front roof over stairs. They blew off and said they only do large jobs.
