I had an EXTREMELY HUGE abscess on the back of my left lower leg(my calf), i unkowningly had a severe case of type2 diabetes, which in turn (completely my fault) so insteead of getting it taken care of right away, I procrastinated think my body. Heals itself . Needless to say, worst decision ever, by the time doc gott to me, the inside was necrotizing and was in danger of losing leg knee down. Now when I say beautiful Dr.clanton refused to chop. My 38yr old leg. She’s my true angel.. I cud praise her for so much more ..
Very disappointed and frustrated with this doctor. I was referred to Dr. Elizabeth Clanton from a previous plastic surgeon that retired however I didn’t have a positive experience at all. I went to her to get guidance/treatment for a wound about the size of a quarter on my left hip. I anticipated having her do a surgical flap to close it. The initial visit was short and she recommended that she do a biopsy of the wound but she required that I be scheduled for an operating room at Baptist Hospital downtown. Have been to see Dr Clanton twice for breast reduction surgery consultations. She has been very patient, listened to my concerns and my expectations and went all over how she would preform the surgery and what to expect afterwards. I have elected to pay out of pocket for additional lipo that insurance won't pay for and she is checking both hospital's she works out of to get me the best price so my costs will be manageable. Dr. Clanton was a God-send to me. She is caring, conscientious, knowledgeable, and so friendly. Her staff was easy to work with, and I believe that is a reflection of the Doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Clanton for any surgical procedure, pre-op and post-op.
