I’ve tried many lobster rolls around Boston area..this place still by far the best one!
Went there yesterday and ended up paying 40% tip at this self serve shack because they don’t tell you that the bill already includes tip. I felt really ripped off because there are no signs nor does anyone say something. Food was good but 40% tip???
Loved it! Amazing lobster roll and fries. Everything on the menu looks fantastic and the prices are really fair. Great location in Salem Willows. The staff is super friendly and Angelo is the best!
We traveled from BUFFALO NY with a mission to find THE BEST lobster roll on the East Coast, and boy oh boy did we find it! We were in Boston for our son’s heart transplant testing and had asked around town where to go… every person we came in contact with told us to make the drive to Salem and eat at the Clam Shack! Lobster roll was great. The bread is very buttery and salty so that really set off the flavor. Everything else is fried. The scallops and fish were very tasty, lightly battered. Fries were decent. You sit outside and look out at the water so its very pretty! You can get your lobster roll hot or cold. Both ways were good. Fish was light and flaky. Everything was very very good.
