We hunted a really tough week weather-wise… it wasn’t looking good and we didn’t see a thing until very late the 4th sit. Baits were placed in great spots though, and all it takes is a minute for bear to show up. This week it really boiled down to willingness to sit for success. Randy is knowledgeable about laws, safety, and skinning/taxidermy. Pine Point Lodge was absolutely gorgeous and comfy also. Would love to visit again!

By day 4, after still... read more

We crossed paths in the dark several times, proven by the cellular trail cameras that Randy runs on his baits. Randy and I discussed moving spots for the last two days of my hunt to a spot where there was more daytime action and a boar that weighed ~300 lbs. He ... read more

Randy was extremely knowledgeable of the area and patterns of animals. He was friendly, professional and shared a wealth of experience, which would eventually lead to the success of my hunt. Being a first timer and bringing in a 300 lbs black bear was exciting and memorable for all involved.
