I highly recommend booking your next Wisconsin Zone A hunt with Clam Lake Guide & Taxidermy. Randy Sersch is the man and he knows what he’s talking about. He used his wisdom and years of experience and he worked hard to put myself and a few other combat wounded veterans on some black bears. He also gave us all solid advice and low and behold, we were all successful in harvesting a black bear. If at first you don’t succeed, listen to your guide!! Great experience and a great guide service and this is one of if not the best hunts i ever had.
Exceptional experience. Randy provided a wonderful hunt. I highly recommend. If you like hunting bear bobcat grouse, Randy is your man !!
We hunted a really tough week weather-wise… it wasn’t looking good and we didn’t see a thing until very late the 4th sit. Baits were placed in great spots though, and all it takes is a minute for bear to show up. This week it really boiled down to willingness to sit for success. Randy is knowledgeable about laws, safety, and skinning/taxidermy. Pine Point Lodge was absolutely gorgeous and comfy also. Would love to visit again!
Should have called around locally and since research before going with the first guide option online! - not nearly enough room to go over everything that happened, but will include the most important parts.. Everyone but myself managed to get a bear, which makes it sound like we were doing something wrong.
