Great Open House to introduce their new products
Had an older model Nanook XL and absolutely loved it. So naturally I bought the new version of the Nanook (thermal XT) and having serious issues with poles binding. I was basically told this is because of the new design and no helpful resolution was offered. Stuck with a rig that requires me to stand with one foot holding the tub down while pull with all my might to extend the one set of poles (Centre poles - lower section) All others slide perfectly normal. Not happy. Time to find a new solution. :(

The 5 star rating is predominantly in the customer service area. While I really like the tent I had some initial issues with it that CLAM customer service rectified to my total satisfaction and in a very timely manner.
Want to buy a hub big enough to sleep in. Eskimo lists dimensions on a very easy website. Clam has a website that loops, preventing you from looking up hubs or getting any help. It keeps dropping you back on a general fishing page. Calls to the company are useless. Their website “chat” support is an AI that is also useless.
