Crap product, bought a flip over thermal fish house about three years ago and the windows have rotted out of it obviously they used crappy material during Covid times but they won’t stand behind it at all just offered to sell me a new $400 canvas or mail me chunks of window material that are obviously sewed into the Canvas so the average person is not gonna be able to do that job they’ll have to go to an upholstery shop which will cost just as much as a new canvas. BEWARE of windows getting cloudy on portable ice shacks. When I messaged Customer Service, no warranty or recall on a 2 yr old item. Dude tells me use a plastic polish. Why should I have to use this on a $1k unit
This is not a retail location, but I went there to put my hands on a few items before I purchased them online. I was able to ask a few questions about some of the different fish-house fabrics that they use and their new portable heaters.
I was really hoping an American company would have better customer service than over seas but that’s just not the case here. In this case, it’s non-existent. I have had a Clam product since 2015 and have been trying to update it. I have called, I have left messages, and now I have spent significant money only to spend more to send it back. I was very happy with my first purchase with clam Jason Mitchell x 400 thermal. Just got my Kenai xt thermal for my birthday and all my windows were very hard to see through. I contacted customer service and they told me I had to buy Meguiar's PlastX to fix there problem with quality assurance. After one time use my cover that came with it already is tearing.
