Got my ears pierced here and regret it deeply. They used a piercing gun, which is already a red flag, and gave me cheap earrings that caused irritation from day one. It’s been 7 MONTHS and my ears are still sore, bleeding, and sensitive — even though I followed all aftercare. Go to a professional piercer who uses needles and sterile tools, not a retail store with untrained staff and poor-quality jewelry. Claire’s should not be doing piercings. Period.
I had three pairs of ear piercings done at the same time, and it was my first experience getting pierced. Leandra, a staff member at the Champlain Mall branch, made the entire process incredibly comfortable. She is highly professional, clearly passionate about her work, and her warm, contagious smile put me at ease. I highly recommend this place to anyone considering ear piercings.
