My wife and daughter like this place. I found it very, very expensive.
The store is clean and thoughtfully organized. The staff is helpful, professional and kind. I had a great experience working with Amanda who's energy was very welcoming. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I usually don't fall for the upsell, but she found the perfect pair of earrings to match my headband! I appreciate the help because I can get a little overwhelmed with all the products. I do not go to Claire's often, however, when I do, it's always a pleasant experience!
I was at the Vernon location last week, I don't mind being approached by employees and greeted but the whole spiel is to much, first they start with sales they have and then ask if you are in for a piercing appointment if you say no they still tell you about the promotions you'll get if you get a piercing. And if you only want to buy one thing they try to aggressively sell a second item for cheaper. And then if you don't provide an email address they bombard you with all the "perks" of signing up. The lady that is there is shady . I’m disappointed Clair’s that this is a person that blames a child for defective products. Amazon sells the exact product for half the price. It’s just an experience for my children to walk in the store and buy something, but I don’t need it older lady to treat my kids rudely. The younger girls working at the store were amazing.
