HORRIBLE This is an absoutely horrible place! I worked here for a few months and HATED every minute of it. They're VERY under staffed, the aids they do have are really lazy, and are not nice to the residents. They would lay residents down after meals and not get them back up because it was too much work or if residents asked if there was any activites they'd say no so they wouldn't have to do anything with them. Clairemont Nursing & Rehab is covering up EVERYTHING They always worked short staff and then you'd get bitched at for not keeping up. When state came in then management and office staff got off their ass to help, EVER time! This place REALLY felt like they NEVER really cared about the residents. My own boss gossiped to me and talked nasty of residents, I didn't say nuttin, didn't know how to react at the time. Mr. A truly horrible and dangerous place that should be shut down. Extremely poor management. Overcrowded without proper equiptment or staffing. Extremely poor service in every area of patient care. Review citations before letting a family member or relative enter this area.
Stay far away froom this place. My mother was sent here because there was apparently no other hospice bed available in the area. She was adamant about never wanting morphine - even stating so in her healthcare directive. The care manager of the hospice unit took it upon her self to give my mother morphine without her consent AND without her knowledge. The state is taking it's time investigating this woman.
