I noticed this dentist is spreading common myths about fluoride in a recent cbc news article. Unfortunate and annoying. She is saying “fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral”. That is calcium fluoride. Sodium fluoride is what is added to the water. It is a by product of manufacturing. It does not help teeth, at all. In fact it can cause dental fluorosis. Please educate yourself on this topic before advocating for it any longer. Look into the history of fluoride being added to out water supplies.
