Food was good and it the atmosphere has the old diner feel to it.
We stopped here for breakfast this morning and immediately understood why it was standing room only. This is clearly the spot in town, whether you’re a local or just passing through. Located right across from the Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitors Center, this place serves true home-style breakfast done exceptionally well. By and far one of THE COOLEST places that I've ever had the privilege of eating at. The place is run by TJ and his Mom Cyndi. The food and the service were just out of this world. The atmosphere is totally cool with a 50's diner vibe to it. Sat at the counter and got to see everything going down in real time and it was controlled chaos that TJ handled masterfully. If you're ever in Fredericksburg you owe it to yourself to stop in for the great atmosphere, food, and service.
After a walk around the Battlefield we decided to stop for lunch as the smell of bacon was all around us as we descended the battlefield area. The pancake shown is the “small” pancake. The 2 egg omelet with bacon or sausage with cheese were both good. The pancake was amazing. Keep up the great work. Staff were helpful and very friendly.
I truly enjoyed myself you couldn't have found more friendlier fund service and the food was excellent. I think it was the biggest pancake I'd ever seen in my life
