Gave my children vaccinations without consent. Threatened me saying I had no choice and I couldn't be in the room with my 10, 13 and 15 year olds per TN law. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE.
Everyone is mostly friendly, and seem to be knowledgeable. However, it seems as though they don’t value anyone’s time but their own. They will pull you from the lobby back to a patient room and have you sit in the patient room for up to 45 minutes or more PAST your appointment time. If this area had more than one pediatrician we would definitely be going elsewhere.
This facility has been the best pediatric care we have received! We were previously attending a pediatrician in Knoxville and they kept throwing shots at my child while she was sick. I was so worried and when I called Dr. Widner's office they immediately got her in and he gave her a different way to handle the illness she had, and she was better in a week! So, so thankful for Dr. Widner always being so kind to my girl. Would highly recommend his office. Exceptional staff as well.
I love the entire staff of Claiborne pediatrics. It doesn't matter if we are there for a well check or a sick child, I always feel like we are given individual attention with our questions answered. My children are not nervous going here. One nurse even got my picky 4 year old to take medicine in the cutest way.
