We are a professional water treatment company that has been working with Clack valves for more than 25 years. Unfortunately, over the last two years, we have clearly noticed a serious drop in product quality, which is unacceptable for a brand with Clack’s reputation. Their parts are cheap and break within a year. Just moved into a house, previous owners had Watters Plumbing install a BRAND NEW water softener system in Nov of 2024. I noticed a small amount of water build up around the bottom of the tank around Sept of 2025, I assumed it was condensation from the tank, turns out it was a leak from a tiny cheap plastic part.
