Had lost my left eye in a logging accident when metal shrapnel went into my left eye and destroyed My Retina.Recently wasDiagnosed with closed angle glaucoma in my right eye. Dr Claasen did laser surgery and everything so far is great. Awesome Doctor to deal with very friendly and easy to talk with.Staff were great too
Always very professional and thorough with eye examinations. I would definitely recommend them.
If I could give this Doctor 0 stars I would. He has really messed up my eyes for life. He preformed a laser procedure last year to prevent glaucoma. Since then; I have had terrible eye dryness and will be on drops forever. When I asked him prior to the surgery if I would need drops, he told me no. I did not like his bedside manner and he seemed quite flippant when I asked him questions about the iridotomy Do not go to this Doctor; you will regret it. I found Dr Claussen AND his staff very professional and had been informed that he is the best eye surgical eye specialist on the Island if not BC! and that is what I was sent to him for: I had a serious cataract that kept returning and that has nothing to do with the doctor. It happens. I recently had an appointment with Dr. Classen, and while there had dealings with 3 staff members. All were professional and kind. Dr. Classen was easy to talk to and very reassuring.
