Very unprofessional, lack integrity and transparency and will betray and disparage you to other agencies when you try to transfer. Appear to be more interested in maintaining their contracts ($$$) then care for children. They ascribe to being faith based but their practice is far from it.
Update: While we loved CK to start with, the support we received during an investigation was nonexistent except for what we requested. We were scared and left to figure it out on our own. They did take some responsibility, but asking how you can support someone after the fact is too late. CK does a lot of things right though. Their training and preparation for foster parents is great. My prior review was conveniently deleted. The short version: we transferred away from CK Family Services due to a lack of integrity and accountability. I am a third generation foster parent and president of a foster care support nonprofit. We have cared for 20 children in foster care in the last three and a half years, basic through specialized with a treatment services addendum. This company sucks sll they seem to worry about is praying. Now dont get me wrong I am a very spiritual person but this company will make you loose your religion!!!! Im trying to get my grandson out of custady in Virginia through an interstate compact. They act like they dont know what that is. they where more concerned about my ex husband whom i havent been in contact with for 40 years.
