They remodeled a house I bought. There's numerous electrical issues. I have backfed neutral wires and after opening several switch covers (adding smart switches) not one has the ground wire connected. I am not sure who they used for their electrical contractor but it is poor workmanship. I have spent several hundred dollars tracking down the backfeed.
