I’ve been working with Ben Hicks at CJBS for my personal and small business taxes, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. This place is extremely unprofessional. The partners are supposed to help you and they don’t and when you don’t give them answers that they agree with they get upset at you and tell you we’re not gonna do your taxes. This is the worst accounting firm I’ve ever ever encountered this place is horrible. I would run. I wouldn’t go to this place. I would run away fast.
The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with an accountant and filing my taxes. I first contacted Jeff March 19th as he was referred to me by a family member. We didn’t get an appointment scheduled with him until March 30th, to which he stated he should be able to complete our taxes by the deadline. He did not get them done on time, sent an email stating we owed the IRS $400 immediately with little explanation other than we had to pay a fee for not getting our taxes done on time. My organization works with CJBS, and I cannot recommend this team strongly enough. Andrew has been a great advocate and endless resource, and the rest of the team has always been nothing but eager to support us, even when we have presented challenging situations. We are not a huge organization, but we're large enough that we have a long list of vendors, and only a few of them seem interested in the kind of personal relationship our whole school community is built on.
