Buffet dinner named "Festive Dinner" was a "walk thru hell" at Stone Gables Estate for our bus of seniors. Only one fourth the tables provided to seat everyone for appetizers, the appetizer carts were left half empty, empty buffet pans of food were not restocked in a timely manner. Seniors had to stand in a meat crowd to get meat, holding heavy ceramic plates full of food, and then had to try to navigate through the crowd waiting for meat like an obstacle course to get back to their seat. Very disappointing experience with C&J Catering on March 8, 2026, at the Home and Garden Show at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. One of the bartenders was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful during a basic interaction. At a major public venue, professionalism should be the standard. This left a very negative impression.
The chicken sandwich I bought at the great outdoors show was terrible. Bland and dry. $12, makes me sad thinking about what i could have bought. While I'm sure this experience at this show don't reflect the other aspects of this business. However, please do better next time. For the people.
At the Great American Outdoor Show. Bought cheese steaks on 2 occasions. The were very good had a great amount of beef and for $12.00 it was the best value at the show.
Worst experience ever. Cook and front were yelling back and forth. In the expo hall at the Great American Outdoors Show, we order a chicken sandwich and a buffalo quesadilla and waited 30 min for our food and never got our sandwich. We saw that the cook was eating while prepping the food and on her phone the entire time. When we asked for the food, the cook in the back yelled at me and said there’s only one cook in the kitchen. Will be disputing my card.
