Dr. Cowdrey has been our vet for over 15 years. She has always been very knowledgeable and compassionate. Her care for our fur babies has been top notch. She genuinely cares and takes her time during appointments. We love CityVet’s hours, cleanliness, and staff who go above and beyond!
I absolutely love dr. C and the staff at this facility they’ve done excellent work on my babies, and are kind. Dr c has always been transparent about what procedures are necessary and which aren’t. HOWEVER, they inflate prices on over the counter items and prescriptive meds beyond the industry norm. 200-300% markup is actually insane. I have 2 “psychotic” reactive dachshunds, which I foolishly brought together with my daughters who were not helpful lol. When we entered the clinic complete chaos erupted as my girls let the dogs loose and they were barking and trying to attack all the other bigger dogs. Embarrassed and trying to corral the kids and dogs while simultaneously apologizing to the staff and other dog owners, the staff was prompt about getting us into a room even though we were 30 mins early. The worst experience that I have ever had when seeking urgent help for one of our pets. The vet, Jaime Cowdrey, was extremely unkind and unprofessional to my dog, as well as to me and my wife. Our dog was very obviously (and understandably) anxious. Instead of approaching our dog with compassion, she was domineering and mean. Dogs understand tone of voice and body language, and her behavior only made things worse for our hurting dog.
