My dachshund almost died today from a rabies vaccine. This after I fought with the tech to not give rabies, DHPP, lepto, bordetella, and flu all at once. I talked her down to rabies, dhpp, bv. She still said I should do all and dachshunds are fine with it. She also wanted to “take him to the back” to get everything done. I refused. Good thing I did. The doctors and staff at Cityvet Phillips Creek are amazing! I have been a Cityvet customer for a while now but prefer this location since it is close by, and my dogs like Dr. Colquitt. I appreciate how transparent they are about prices and estimates. More than that, they go out of their way to make my pets feel comfortable. They also offer grooming which is super convenient for my Pyrenees mix who receives sedatives (prescribed by Cityvet) for anxiety. Love this CityVet location!! Been taking my 3 year old labradoodle here for vet and grooming services since she was a puppy. The entire staff is amazing and their love and care for animals is evident every time you walk through the door and even after you leave. They make an effort to follow up by text or phone call to check and see how your pet is doing and also have a texting service available to ask any questions, send pictures, etc. Birdie and I can't recommend enough if you need a vet and/or groomer!!
I had to take a moment and post how fantastic Johnny is! My dog almost ran out of medication and his location didn’t have it so he called another location to find it successfully. He went above and beyond for me and my sweet dog! Thankful to have someone that really cares. Thank you Johnny!!!
