This is to say that everyone at this location was nice and helpful, including the PA that I saw, but a failure to order a urine culture has me in discomfort over a month after my first visit. I went to this location on November 23rd of this year because I suspected that I had my first UTI ever. It was confirmed that I had a UTI and I was given Macrobid for it along with a red pill for the pain (which I was grateful for) and an anti fungal pill. This urgent care was the best they didn’t even me charge for the visits as they went through my insurance because when I called other urgent care near me they literally just told me that we don’t take insurance and the Tdap vaccine would cost $50 plus the visiting fees so almost about $110 or something but luckily thank god I searched up this urgent care and found. 1st time visit to this CityMD location (and hadn't been to one in several years). I was very impressed and pleased. Receptionist greeted me with a friendly and welcoming manner, medical assistant took my medical history efficiently and empathetically, and MD clearly explained what he proposed as treatment. Everyone was exceptionally kind, understanding and efficient. I was not rushed but was in and out within 30 minutes and believe the medications prescribed will clear up my issue. Highly recommend this location.
I had uncontrollable diarrhea and was diagnosed with Norovirus. Ok, the Dr gave instructions on how to treat it. I asked the nurse how my blood pressure was and was told it was 95/57. My blood pressure was in the hypotension range so i asked if the dr could take it with a stethoscope and cuff. He refused and i was advised to test it with my own machine and if it was still low to go to the emergency room! I give this place two stars because the staff was amazing. Unfortunately the provider was awful. I went today because I have pain and I was told everything was alright. I just left a second doctors who found a sinus infection. Unbelievable. I wasted my money and time.
