I arrived a few minutes early for an appointment and was promptly escorted to an examination room. The nurse spent a few moments with me and told me the doctor would follow shortly thereafter. And then I waited. And waited. And waited. After about 45 minutes, I poked my head out and received an apology and was told somehow the doctor skipped me but I would be the next exam. This is by far the best urgent care in the area. I have only had positive experiences. The staff is friendly and efficient. The doctor and PA are knowledgeable and experienced with excellent bedside manner.
The Doctor that was present on the evening on Tuesday November 5th was condescending and dismissive about the symptoms that my son was having. She didn’t believe that my son had a high fever (though I’m not sure why anyone would make this up). Also, she berated him (and not me for some reason ) for not taking the cough syrup that had been prescribed from a prior visit. I objected and stated that the cough syrup was intended to treat the symptoms to help him sleep and wasn’t needed if he was sleeping fine. She proceeded to fa... read more
