The gym is busy and full of a wide range of equipment. Staff are friendly. However I had to detour to work to use the bathroom, as all four of the mens loos were out of toilet paper, and two of them were in a state I can only describe as a war crime... they need to roster on more cleaning/maintenance staff to keep up with the number of gym goers.
My regular gym due to location and I have been going more the last few weeks. Facilities are good, a lot of space to move. Busy at times but mainly during peak hours (between 5 and 7). Hygiene level are good, spray bottles and paper towels to wipe down equipment, but there is no hand sanitisers stations available at all inside the gym or even in the toilets. Frustrating when I want to clean my hands quickly after the end of a gym session on my way out. Thanks
Uncomfortable and unacceptable experience at CityFitness Christchurch. On June 21st, a male cleaner entered the women’s changing room while I was still getting dressed. There was no warning, no knocking, no announcement — he just walked in and started vacuuming. When I complained, the gym offered no real apology or solution. Women deserve better. We deserve safety, privacy, and respect.
