This gym has been a very positive experience for me. The equipment is of excellent quality, and the spacious layout ensures that machines are readily available, even during peak hours. The recovery room offers a relaxing space to unwind. Furthermore, I've been particularly impressed by Amelia Martin, a staff member who consistently greets me and my friend with a warm welcome. Probably the best gym in west Auckland in terms of equipment and price, the staff are very lovely, friendly and knowledgeable about exercises, stretches and the gym in general. The atmosphere is always electric but like every gym ever, the music playing is atrocious, god forbid you forget your own ear/headphones. In terms of actual facilities, pilates, recovery rooms and a great selection of classes/group fitness definitely is a plus for this gym as there is multiple ways to achieve your individual goals. I witnessed a serious injury at CityFitness Westgate when a bench suddenly dropped while a member was adjusting it. The bleeding was severe, and the staff on duty didn’t know how to handle the situation. I had to step in and help dress the wound myself. Very disappointed in the safety standards and lack of proper first aid response. Don't choose them if you are fresh gym goers. Obviously low price is their only advantage.
